Running means taking action!

Yes, women have never held such a strong position in our society, but there is still a long way to go to claim equality. Together, let’s fight against preconceived ideas and build a fairer, freer world!

Did you know?

Jasmin Paris Winner of the Montane Sprite Race 2019

83 hours, 12 minutes and 23 seconds

That’s how long it took Jasmin Paris to complete one of the most difficult ultra-marathons in the world, the Montane Sprite Race, which is 429 km long and features 16,000 metres of elevation gains, in the height of winter.

She became the first woman to win this race but, above all, she broke the record by more than 12 hours, held by a man, Eoin Keith in 2016.

Elaine Thompson Jamaican athlete

Faster than 99.9% of men

We’re always being told about the greatest male champions. And we’re told that women could never beat them. But if we look at the numbers differently, a champion like Elaine Thompson runs faster than 99.9% of men. We'll give you 10.70 seconds to think about that, that's how long it took her to run 100m.

Alice Milliat

She was the very first woman to set a record in rowing over 80km. Following this achievement, she worked to promote the role of women in sport. In particular, she promoted the involvement of women in the Olympic Games.

Etam X Alice Milliat Foundation

For more than 100 years, Etam has supported women in their quest for equality and freedom.

The Alice Milliat Foundation works to promote women’s role in sport.

Together, they have created an ambitious challenge to carry the message loud and clear and have pledged €15,000 to support the cause.
